The company was founded by Shof Beavers, a software engineer with over 25 years experience developing enterprise level software for companies such as Sony, Visa, ABC Network Television, Direct TV, CaseCentral, Zinio and many others.  These companies rely on their systems to work 24/7 without failure and you should expect nothing less from your tools.  In addition to his background in software development, he has over 25 years experience as a musician.  He has performed and recorded with a wide variety of ensembles in experimental, hip hop, jazz, rock, symphonic and on and on.  L and L brings this level of software development and musicality to the MIDI software field to provide unique, hard working systems that you will use and can depend on daily.
